Super Bright Bicycle Lights - Moon Comet W and Comet R Lights

These have to be the most amazing lights ever! 35 lumens (For Red) and 100 lumens (For White) of pure blazing power in a tiny package that mounts onto your bicycle, scooter or anywhere else!

What I really like about the Comet R (Red)  and the Comet W (White) is that the Comet R has 30 LED chips in the small package to create 35 Lumens of brightness while the Comet W has just 16 white LED chips to create 100 lumens of brightness. These have to be the smallest lights I have seen that are so bright! They are also rechargeable, fortunately, as they definitely consume a lot of power too.

My bathroom light went off a month ago, and because it is so high up, I didn't change it. The Comet W is a great substitute, as I can place it on the cistern and it lights up the entire toilet, even at 50% light. I've also been using this amazing light as a torchlight, as the throw is really far. What I was concerned with, however, so how long it can retain charge, and so far, it's been nearly a month, and the Comet R is still lighting up on that single one full charge of 2 hours that I did. Did I mention it is waterproof? Well it is, and I am glad that it is, as while showering, I used the Comet W too!

The clasp at the back of the Moon Comet R and the Moon Comet W is square. This is really clever, as I am able to fix on the light easily vertically and horizontally, depending on what I feel seeing. Do I prefer a wide beam of light as I am scooting around? Or do i want a vertical light, lighting up my path. With both the Comet R and the Comet W, I am able to easily change my mind.

You can see me holding the light, look at how bright it is at 50% brightness! The Comet W I was holding is really that small, but the throw is awesome and it makes a fantastic light for hiking, trails, as an emergency torch light too. There is visibility from the front as well as from the sides.  The red light makes the place look romantic, doesn't it? Still bright enough, I am using the Comet R as a night light.

You can also see how bright it is even in the day! The red light on my scooter is definitely the brightest! Everyone I spoke to at the Safra Bike Carnival knew about the Moon lights and how startling bright they were. The moment I scooted over to their booths, they would point and ask, "That's a Moon light right? "

I thought to myself, they must be really famous in the bike world, as everyone took one look from really faraway and said they must be moon lights! I was riding around happily that day, day brightened up the lovely moon lights I had attached on my skate scooter, and when it was time to go, I was a little sad to see the pretty lights go.

I was really lucky though, because Bike31 gave me two Comets, $49 each, to use and review.

Thank you Bike31!

Have Comet R and Comet W, Will Travel! The reason why this post is in Me, Wo, Chan is because my skate scooter keeps me fit, and the lights allow me to venture out on my skate scooter at night as now, I am VISIBLE to cars and pedestrian alike!
